Milan – AC Milan will appear limp against Hellas Verona . Stefano Pioli isn’t too worried about the gal because this has happened so many times.
Milan restarted their work after the international break by hosting Verona at the San Siro, Sunday (17/10) early morning hrs. Il Diavolo will limp in the face of this match.
Milan certainly can not be strengthened by Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan. Meanwhile, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still a doubt to be able to appear after still struggling with an Archilles injury. They also had to lose Brahim Diaz who was positive for COVID-19.
Milan coach, Stefano Pioli, admitted his team was not in the best condition in the match later. Moreover, the players also just gathered after the international break.
The situation is getting more difficult because of the busy schedule in front of Milan with this midweek facing Porto in the Champions League.
However, the 55-year-old coach insists his squad is used to dealing with situations like this. Pioli said his team was not afraid to face Verona. He considered the team made by Igor Tudor to be a difficult opponent for the Rossoneri.
“This will be an unusual stop, but we are used to it. We just got together yesterday, I saw the right attention and attitude,” Pioli was quoted as saying by Football Italia.
“We prepared well for an important and difficult match. Verona is fine since Tudor arrived and is in good shape. We have to be ready for this,” he explained.
Milan is currently in second place with 19 points. Meanwhile, Verona is ranked 12th with a score of eight points.
